MODI with Wareneingangssystem Version 5 at SMTconnect – scanning processes faster than ever before!
The MODI Wareneingangssystem is now a well-known and proven system in the industrial world with a successful history.
At SMTconnect 2023, MODI is now presenting the 5th generation of the Wareneingangssystem. The manufacturers are focusing on some new features in the new generation that will please users.
The Wareneingangssystem already has a firm place in the traceability sector for mastering challenges in incoming goods confidently, securely and quickly.
The general problems with the reliable identification of all relevant data on delivered packaging units such as component rolls are manifold. In addition to the manufacturer’s label, there are often several different labels on the material containers (manufacturer’s label, possibly distributor’s label and other labels).
The data on the labels is also applied to the labels in different forms depending on the manufacturer (barcode, Datamatix code and plain text). It must be possible to record this information quickly and reliably in order to guarantee a secure process after goods receipt. More than 10 years ago, MODI introduced a safe and convenient solution to this problem with its and convenient solution on the market.
With the MODI Wareneingangssystem , all data on component rolls, trays, drypacks or cardboard boxes are recorded, decoded and passed on in one work step (scan). The customer’s own label can be securely generated with this data and printed with a unique number (UID). In parallel, the data can be forwarded to a wide variety of interfaces to ERP,
MES or material handling systems.
Special features of the Wareneingangssystem:

–>With DateCode decoding, the system is able to determine the production date and check whether the material can still be used.
