MODI supplies optical reading and inspection systems, to ensure traceability of their production processes.
With the patented camera technology the field of view of a camera can be distracted to various positions with just one camera. Tailored to the individual needs of each customer, MODI supplies either a complete process system including Board conveyor technology or detached camera systems with SMEMA interfaces for easy integration on existing board handling equipment.
The fully-fledged inspection cell from MODI impresses with its state-of-the-art camera technology, proven board handling and modern design. A transport conveyor from Nutek serves as the basis. A partnership that has grown over the years has enabled the two systems to merge seamlessly. Benefit from the many years of experience of the companies with their core competencies in the areas of camera surveillance and board handling.
Detached from the actual board handling equipment, MODI developed a camera system for optical inspection and code reading tasks. With integrated digital inputs and outputs and its own SMEMA interface, the TopScan unit can be installed above any conveyor belt.
Thanks to the modular technology, the system is individually tailored to the respective project. Camera resolution, lighting and the entire test cell setup are based on a Feasibility study determined. Turn your simple transport conveyor into a fully-fledged optical inspection system. Intervention in existing control systems is not necessary due to the standardized interfaces. not required.
VCSP = VISION CONTROL SERVER PACKAGE. The VCSP inspection software developed in-house is used to control our inspection and Code reading systems. The modular software offers the option of programming individual test tasks yourself. An integrated graphical workflow editor makes it possible to edit system sequences quickly and easily. With individual training courses on all aspects of your inspection task, you will quickly become an expert in machine vision.
